I love the technology, but the watch design is big, bulky and flashy, I'm not a fan.

I like the reference but one little thing that bugs me...why couldn’t they match the colour of the inner ring with that of the dial.

The current Sky-D line up doesn’t have much contrast between the ring and dial. The first ones did but that was much more noticeable on large hi-res images than on the wrist.

I was very fortunate to get a blue dial last year. After trying hard to bond with it I couldn't get past the size on my wrist. I just don't think the large watch aesthetic works for a watch that looks like the SkyD.

It’s not in the sports watch family, so it is less talked about

Another vote of love for the blue NATO strap :)

At 42mm, it is too large for me to wear. I like the look of the TT white dial and it can be obtained at retail from an AD. I just could never wear it.

It wouldn't be my only Rolex, but deserves a a place in my collection! When you're used to wearing DDSD, Omega Planet Oceans, etc., it feels like a small dress watch.

However, for all of those that are averse to scratches, I would recommend that one shouldn't spend too much time scrutinizing the watch! |

If you have the wrist for one, then it's a stunning piece. Most enthusiast haven't even been able to see one in person because the AD won't have one to show you. I have seen the Full Everose, The Yellow gold and the steel bluedial. I think each is a beautiful watch.

I would prefer more contrast between the dial and 24 hour disk. Of the SS models, I think the white has the most contrast, the black the least. I still prefer the black overall.
I keep looking at TT whites. Note to self: Don't. The dark rhodium is just gorgeous, and has good contrast. Note to self: Don't. |

My AD was pushing their TT sky dweller. My guess was no one is interested.

I stopped in at the Rolex boutique in Wynn’s LV the day the sky dweller was announced. They showed me the only one in stock. Stainless steel with 18K WG bezel(?). I thought it was looking like a Breitling dial. Didn’t like it at all and for $17,500.00 definitely not interested. Still not after all these years.
