Tudor Submariner 36mm 75090 bracelet(s)
So I’ve been wearing my 1993 75090 Tudor Sub on a perlon strap as the original bracelet looks like it’s about to break and I don’t want to lose the watch.
I popped into my local AD this afternoon looking to see if any blue BB58’s where in stock and happened to ask if there was any chance of sourcing a bracelet for my Tudor. He said he’d take the reference number and contact them. The AD called me later and told me 2 types of bracelet were available - jubilee and ‘sport’ costing €320 each. I was both surprised that they were available to order and delighted that the cost was so low - I ordered both which should come in in 4 weeks apparently. I didn’t know I could purchase new old bracelets from Tudor - is this something you guys were aware of? |

Sure will. The AD informed me that neither bracelet was in current stock with Tudor but will be delivered within 5 weeks. Bit of a wait, perhaps they come from Geneva, wouldn't be surprised.

always good fun to freshen things up with a new strap! Here is the correct 18mm Tudor bracelet with endlinks.

The jubilee is a 62480 I believe
The one depicted above is a 93150 but with a 18mm width at the lug |

Any updates on this front.? Just picked up a 75090 of my own and would love to see any examples of newer AD-sourced bracelets.
Mine came with a Tudor 9315 in really good condition, so I'm loathe to remove any folded links... |

I do believe that it's an 18mm 9315 from Tudor. I don't believe Tudor ever made 93150 bracelets in either 18mm or 20mm, though someone please correct me if I'm mistaken! (I'd personally love an 18mm 93150...)

So, I ended up calling Wempe on Fifth Avenue, which provided me the reference numbers of the two 18mm bracelets that are listed for the 75090:
Both were priced at $425, though Wempe was unable to order and suggested I called RSC NY directly. I spoke with someone as RSC (well, their Dallas-based US call center), which mentioned they couldn't seem to order either, and that it seems like the bracelets weren't even eligible to be ordered from Geneva. That said, I do have a contact at RSC NY from a prior servicing, who I left a voicemail with who called me back. She confirmed that she was also unable to order but said she'd be willing to check with colleagues in Geneva to see if there was any stock somehow still available that could be sent over. No guarantees, of course, but fingers crossed that there might be some inventory left over! Will keep you all posted... |
