Recs for Service in Los Angeles

Hello - I tried using the search function but that wasnt too useful. Does anyone have recommendations to get a date-just serviced in the Los Angeles area? Obviously not looking to go to the AD. Thanks in advance and sorry if I missed a thread that answers my question.

When an RSC is as close by as Beverly Hills, I would think that that would be at the top of anyones list.

However, LA has dozens of good shops; LA Watchworks in Pasadena is mentioned by many here

Send it to Tom in San Diego or come down for the day meet him and he can ship it back to you. TRUST him and his work 100%!

What would be the primary benefit of using someone like LAWW over the RSC?

If you have a vintage piece they will not replace dial, hands, bezel, etc. they also have access to things like period correct crowns that Rolex long has been out of. They also do great polish jobs where Rolex is hit or miss.

Appreciate the insight, thanks! I have an early 80’s Datejust I’d like to have serviced so I’ll check them out
