16760 year ranges
I've been on the hunt for a 16760 from 1983 (supposedly first year they were made). The earliest I've ever been able to track down is a 1984. After calling around and speaking with a few shops, the only direction I was given was that production was started late in 83, so there are probably very few in rotation.
Can anyone confirm this? Or is it just bad luck of the draw right now with availability? |

They were made 1983 to 1988ish.
1983 and 1988 are the hardest to find. Make sure it doesn't have service dial or hands. You want original period correct on a piece like that. Good luck hunting for one. |

First year Oyster Perpetual, not Oyster Perpetual Date are rarest, be careful not to buy a redialed 1999-2006 T25 Tritinova service dial version - I did by mistake 15 years ago. Easily spotted as lume is super green and stays bright for many minutes
