1680 Meters first red sub

I bought a full set Meters first red sub from Andrew Shear MK1 in 2014

Would a 116500 BNIB white dial be a fair trade , ?

Interesting question. Would depend on the condition of the vintage piece and what it comes it.

Personally, if it is a good example, I would keep the red sub.

I happen to like both watches very much but there is no way I would trade a full set meters first red sub for a depreciating value watch that is still available from the AD at a much lower MSRP. Not happening…

I think your Red sub will fetch more than the 116500. They're both nice watches, I would not consider if the Red sub is in top condition.

Youre not going to get much support for that trade on the vintage forum.

Agreed.

These are about exact opposites as well, so the OP would need to be 100% certain they are ready to move on

Not a trade I’d make. The red line sub just looks better to me. Bonus points for its vintage.

Wouldn't do that. You may not find another meters first full set in great condition for a while.

This is the vintage subform though so we're obviously biased :)
