Best value rubber strap for new Omega Seamaster 300M?
Have a new 2022 Omega Seamaster on the way and looking to buy a rubber strap to replace the bracelet.
Omega's strap is pretty expensive for what it is, though I know the quality is high. Zealande seems to be reasonably popular but is ~$175 which is still a little rich for a strap. Saw one on Etsy, but hesitant (in the $50 area). Preferably it would be arched to cover all the space between the lugs. Any others out there that folks have purchased and are really happy with? |

I went ahead and bullet and got the Omega rubber with deployment clasp. Love it!

If you are referring to the Seamaster 300M Rubber Strap, it fits the watch very well and as you have said, is "arched" or curved downwards at the head making the fit very comfortable. The pin is flat and fits into the slots very easily. The strap makes the watch wear much lighter than the bracelet.

You can get a tang buckle. The strap is $250 I believe and the buckle is $50

i get looking for value plays and whatnot, but Omega rubber is unparalleled.
otherwise: https://www.bandrbands.com/black-aqu...atch-band.aspx alternative play? Artem strap. Neither of these are curved, though. |

Zealande make a much better rubber tang fitted strap than the OEM Omega one. It is softer, and fits better for me.
Now, if you don't mind it, the OEM deployment is a phenomenal add on. It makes the watch look so much nicer and cleaner than the tang one. |

1) When I received the strap, it had both the curved and straight pins 2) When I used the curved pins there was a small gap between the curved strap and the watch case 3) Last night I fooled around and decided to try bending the straight 21MM pins only very slightly 4) Result was the strap is very tight to the case now Added the deployant and, honestly, I can't imagine it could get any better with the $500+ Omega rubber and deployant. Happier because I spent under $60 total. I'd say that, in combination, it's close to 90% there for about 10% of the OEM cost. Rubber strap 10/10 Deployant 7/10 (finish is pretty good, but def not to Omega finish quality) Here are some photos. |
