Titanium Planet Ocean
Greetings! I am looking into purchasing a Planet Ocean 43.5 Titanium on a rubber strap. If you own one, can you post pictures? They are hard to find in the flesh locally. Also, I'd love to hear how you feel about the size and weight -- I don't tend to like heavy watches, so I have honed in on the titanium over the steel to lighten the watch.
Thanks for any pics, info, advice, etc etc

My advice would be to get the one on the bracelet, and order the rubber strap and deployment clasp from the boutique. If you are buying used, there are usually some listings that have both in the sale. Here’s mine on the bracelet. It’s lighter than the Tudor Pelagos for comparison which I have. The rubber strap is comfortable as well.

rubber straps are amazing, I love my JLC Polaris and would recommend a rubber strap on any dive watch

After trying both, I bought mine on the rubber. It's light, and with a lug to lug of less than 50mm it's super comfortable. Doesn't really matter which you buy it on as the difference in cost for adding the bracelet or the rubber/ deployant is about $70.

There’s a lot of great photos of this one that’s for sale if that helps? Hope I’m not breaking a rule by linking to a classified it’s not my ad but it’s got great pics of this exact set up. |
