Just collected the watch. But realised it is somewhat a "dud" ?
May I know what is the typical turnaround time to fix such issue if send to service centre ?
Or wait till next service, which is like years later...? I would be lying if I say I am not disappointed. For such a legendary brand (and price), this kind of flaw is simply unacceptable. Tue Aug |

Did you buy it from a secondary dealer?
If its bothering you, just send it back for a service and explain your concerns. Sometimes these secondary dealers don't really look after the watch in their possession and just toss it around. Some even wear it daily but claim them as 'pristine'. Get it sorted and you will have a great watch. Congrats! |

I feel like I’m looking in a Where’s Waldo book. What’s the best issue I’m not seeing?

The wheels seem to have too much slack and are misaligned / not centered in their respective windows. More pronounced in the upside down shot.

Need details. New from AD and under warranty? Pre-owned from Grey Market? Etc.

Are the dials actually loose? In order words, on the upside down photo, are you trying to show the day/month wheels actually move slightly when in a different orientation?
If so, you got to take that back. Annoying or not, that would indicate a flawed movement. I'd be pissed if I had waited a very long time for this watch, having paid what I paid for it, to have this issue. I'd also question whether they gave you a brand new watch, or some kind of warranty return, refurbished one, hoping that a "new" buyer wouldn't notice or care about the flaw. |

If its purely an alignment issue, just wait until the next service. Won't necessarily address earlier than that.
Well it can be frustrating, things like this happens all the time. Can't always be 100% perfect. We've all made car purchases and more often than not the more expensive brands like Ferrari, etc. etc. have finishing "issues." |

Not sure what to make of it as it "just" turned to Aug so maybe it will center better over the next couple of days. Interestingly, if you look at the pictures of the watch on the Patek website, some of them don't have the day and month perfectly aligned.

What 'finishing issues' does Ferrari have?

This would not bother me. In fact as much as I looked at the photo I did not notice the flaw until it was identified in the thread. As someone has suggested it maybe just that August just clicked over a day ago. I would give it another couple of days and see if it balances out.

It’s not uncommon. At least the date is somewhat centered ….

I'm not really sure what is the issue but here is my August.
IMG_20220803_202901_(800_x_1080_pixel).jpg You can bring it back to PSC (GMT?) for them to assess. If there is an issue and if it is still under warranty, the fix will be free and shouldn't take more than 1 month. That's my experience with GMT. |

Not applicable to all the cars that roll off the line, but the standard deficiencies like electronics, mechanics, interior finishes, and other faulty parts that are usually addressed during a service or recall.
Happens all the time and to many brands where you expect things to be "perfect." Or at least have the simplest thing work properly but they don't. It's not really an issue, it simply just happens. This is coming from my own account having been around these type of cars all my life (family industry). |

Careful what you wish for I sent my 5711 back to stern for misaligned hash marks at 12 and received it back with perfectly aligned hash marks but no minute marker at 9 lol

Just bought a limited number lambo.
I was surprised at the finishing issues. Minor, and I’m not wearing them. But there nevertheless. I can’t even see the problem on this watch.

I would send it back. That's ridiculous at even $20k.

Had some experience with this and was told by service it is not an easy fix as the discs are attached to the gears and there is actually not much adjusting possible.
