All looks to be genuine. The hands are possibly later, most of these have a long stem hour hand and “lollipop” second hand. Shame about the condition of that bezel though, hugely expensive and very very hard to find a replacement in nice condition. It would be interesting to see the dial is once it’s de-cased or the Crystal removed.

I love these threads.

If it's genuine its rare and worth a small fortune regardless the bezel.

Yea, that is something! How cool. Looks like a few home repairs on the bezel at 12:00. The dial definitely has some patina with all those little pock marks but the lume looks quite nice and undamaged for all the years its endured. Even a little polywatch might do wonders on that crystal. I though the white seconds hands was a feature on these 6542s and with the condition of the lume on the hands they do seem close to period correct. That said I am no expert on these much less a keen observer of these references. Just interested in the history.
