SA texted and offered a Rose Gold Day-Date 40

A couple months ago I asked my SA to please keep me in mind if something in RG came in and it just so happened to be a Day-Date.
Now I just have to figure out when to wear it since I'm not exactly a suit and tie type guy!

Gorgeous watch, and looks great! No need for suit and tie, just wear it wherever and whenever - it’s always at home, whatever the setting.

That’s a stunner!! Looks great on your wrist. Like others have said, you don’t need a suit and tie with that watch. Enjoy

Every DD40 Roman dial is underrated. Everyone loves the baguettes and motifs but those geometric 3d markers are beautiful.

I still think the DD was meant to be a 36mm watch but this is one area that the 40 has its sibling bested without a doubt.

i agree, even though i prefer baguettes on certain dials. the way they cut the romans makes them stand out so well and adds a lot of depth to the dials

That is a stunningly beautiful watch. I love a Sundust dial on an Everose watch. No need for a suit, unless you mean a bathing suit. Just sit back on the Ledge Lounger and relax!!

The biggest miss, by far, was the YG/onyx version. If ever a dial were begging for those, it's that one.

This watch is very beautiful.

I wouldn’t think of it as a suit and tie watch, I think that’s a misconception. Dress watches are simple Reverso and Calatravas, most Rolexes on bracelets look better in more casual settings. IMO.

There are no dress watches anymore. Any watch goes with any type of dress from casual to business to formal. Just wear and enjoy.

When I grow up I want a DD40 exactly like that. RG> Sundust> Romans. Dream Watch.

I love when the drapes match the carpet on a Day-Date.
