1675 GMT Black Bezel - Looking for guidance
Hi RF community, wanted to ask for advice on one more piece, another 1675 GMT w/ a black bezel
Serial 8XXXXX - I can't figure out what the corresponding dial would be for this serial / date range. The watch looks to have a Mark 6 dial. Im slight concerned with the bezel, especially the first two - it looks a bit off. Any thoughts on this? |

Fake—hooked 2s also base alignment on the inner circle of the number 22.

That is not a serial number for a GMT 1675. none of them began with an 8.
If your question is whether the dial is correct, first you need to give us a correct serial number - at least the first two digits of the serial number. The dial in the watch now is a Mark I dial from the late 1960s and is not a mark VI dial. As others mentioned, the black bezel insert is aftermarket - not a genuine Rolex part. Additionally, 1960s GMTs never came from Rolex with black bezel inserts.

Dial, as correctly stated, is a 'Long E' (aka Mk1 of matte dial). The serial if 8 millions, as also mentioned, can't be for a 1675. Maybe you mean serial is 8 hundreds (1961-62), but then you need a gilt dial. Insert is fake. |

IDK, but I don't think I can own a watch where there is a gap between the bracelet and lug. Just can't. Perhaps a pet peeve, but if the watch looks like its going to fall off my wrist at any moment or is ill fitted, I can't lay out that kind of coin.

8xxxxx would be a pointed crown guard GMT 1675. The watch depicted in the photo is not a pointed crown guard!

That watch has likely been built to sell, some would call it a Frankenwatch, even to include the Datejust Jubilee bracelet.

The band is also wrong. Should not have 555 ends and the last link missing the 50s
