AD says I need a new clasp. (pics inside)

This is the bracelet on my Z Serial GMT Master II
The buckle came loose maybe 6 months ago, the watch is my daily driver and my AD said they could either send it to Rolex or see of a local watchmaker has a buckle.
I'd prefer to have it repaired rather than replaced but I don't know if that's possible.
What are your thoughts?

Take a pic of the inside. You might have bent the spring pin or internal spring. The clasp is made out of steel, there is no way it needs to be replaced. Bring it to a small watch repair place, the AD doesn't repair, they only replace.

can't really get a good shot of the inside and I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking at :) but there's a higher end local watchmaker I can try to get to this weekend.
Thanks for the advice!

Looks like a spring bar popped out and perhaps fell out. Completely repairable if you still have the spring bar and spring.

Update: The spring pin must have been out of place. I popped it out with a tool I purchased on Amazon, put it back together and it's back to normal.
So much for needing a new clasp.
