Hello everybody, I can use some help from anybody that are into the vintage Rolex collection.
I got this beautiful 1947? Rolex Bubble Back stainless still and rose gold bezel in mint condition, but I'm confused regarding the yare of the watch. The serial number is 569355 and I think it is made in 1947 but the same serial number showed that it is made in 1962! can anybody solve my problem?
I will attach a picture so that may help. And also I would like to know the value of the watch.

That serial number puts it around 1948. Do you have a photo of the movement, serial number and caseback? That would help authenticate the watch and value it.

Rolex restarted there serial numbers in the early 50's. So, part of attributing an age is knowing which decade the watch would more likely have been produced.
So, yes tour 1947 would be the correct one,not 1962.

Service dial and hands. From mid 60's.

R.W.T., I'm a little slow: are just the service dial and hands from the 60s, or the whole watch? I'm emphatically not trying to be funny or snarky, I thought the bubblebacks went out of production in the late 50s?

Sorry.

T SWISS T is not 48.

All dials tritium or not were painted T SWISS T at that time or at least most.

To me at 1st glance looks like it went to RSC sometime in the mid 60's.

Just an opinion. For sure the dial is not original.

Still, having a service dial (and hands) is infinitely better than a refinished dial. And they look beautiful in the watch (which I think is a ref. 3133).

Interestingly... the dial says T SWISS T but I don't see any lume plots anywhere.

Yes the dial looks very nice.

They put T SWISS T on all the dials.
