Other sizes are 26mm for 47mm pieces like the 372. Panerai also has some at 22mm I believe for the 42mm diameter models. |

I have a Pam069. I bought just to have a Pam in my collection, plus it has a blue dial &
is 40mm. I haven't bought another because the line, in general, is too big for my wrist, and they all sort of look the same. |

For whatever reason, I think general interest in watches are just down. Besides Rolex of course, plus there are only so many discussions one can have about a watch. Panerai is still very popular, but it has probably lost a slight bit of the cult status over the years....however, still has a large following. Having never owned a panerai until recently, due to used prices being down, I saw this as an opportunity to own one. I flipped my stainless sub for a 389 and couldnt be happier. personally found the 116610LN boring, and think the 389 is a lot more interesting and unique. Plus, been getting tons of compliments on it, especially from non-WIS people.

I feel like Panerai has over saturated their market for a while now. They change a dial color or hand style or case material and suddenly it becomes a new model number with a crazy price tag. Not to mention a lot of models are ETA based making it difficult to see the value in a huge price tag. That said, I'm down to 1 Panerai (372) and I think I've had about 10 pams over the years. They always end up being "box queens" and only stay in the collection because they look good in the safe. I'm sure I will get another eventually more so to use with my strap collection and not so much because it is a "have to have" watch.

They make some pretty looking watches, but richemont gonna richemont. Panerai and IWC have the same brand issues.
