Icon20 Rolex Padellone 8171

Hello everyone,
I am trying to understand if the dail on this padellone is authentic or if it was repainted and its value. Could it be a dail that has gone tropical? I brought the watch to some experts that opened the watch and checked that all the parts where real. The watch functions correctly even if I keep it most of the time in the bank safe and is rarley moved. Thanks for any help you can give me .

I know absolutely nothing about this reference but I will say that the case looks suspect....I could be compoletely off on my assessment but it just looks far too new to be that old....I'm sure someone else with far more knowledge will chime in and shed some sound advice.

Ok thanks alot anyway. The case and the components of the watch are all real. I had the watch opened and checked by two different vintage rolex dealers. The case has been polished by the previous owner. I had the watch in a safe and never used it since I own it for more or less 20 years. However the rolex dealers wont comment on the dail cause they wanted to purchase the watch from me to resell it most probably and wont give you all the info you need to decide freely so the question is just on the dail if it could be real or not. Thanks again.

The dial is repainted, the winding crown is replaced, but otherwise, this is a rare model in stainless steel.
