For the record, the press has unsurprisingly gotten the details wrong. Bellagio doesn't have a Rolex store (i.e. a dedicated shop or boutique); the robbery was at the Tesorini location in the lobby, a jewelry and watch store that sells Rolex, among other brands.

In any case, those guys were idiots. Hope they'll be doing hard time very soon.

Flying into vegas now. Hopefully I can get me a deal from a cartoon character in a back ally.

In all serious rob a small store not a such a public well surveillanced place like a casino. I guess that's why criminals don't make it too far in life. Wonder what list of stolen watches is?

I heard that they got away with about two dozen pieces but were told to come back in 18 months for a ceramic Daytona.

Looks like someone(s) tried to rob a Rolex Boutique in Vegas

Bellagio - a CASINO - brilliant.

Wow. The level of stupidity blows my mind. Armed robbery in a city with, arguably, the most surveillance cameras known to mankind. Pure genius.

Stupid is as stupid does. Wow, the sheer level of stupidity on tis one is amazing. Then again, if they were smart, they wouldn't be thieves, right? That is Tessorini. Basically in the lobby of Bellagio. I was there a couple weeks ago. Great store!

Then it is not a robbery.
It is a theft.
The person who took the photo did not witness an armed robbery. It is just a theft. Having a sledge hammer and stealing expensive watches do not constitute an armed robbery.

Thats pretty scary. If the store was closed don't they move all the watches into a safe? They only keep a couple of watches in the display for walking buyers.

Glad they were caught, would have been funny if they tried to leave the parking garage and didn't have enough money to pay for the parking spot.
