Can bubbleback's be service at RSC?

An interesting question,
Can any of the bubbleback models be serviced and restored at RSC? Are parts still pretty scarces. I did not know if parts are still manufactured in Swiss. How much are parts?

I had my eye on one 2 years ago and I was afriad of limited avaliabilty of parts.

If it's a Rolex, they'll service it. HOwever, they only claim to keep parts in stock for 30 years, so it could be difficult to replace something that they may not have in stock.

A good Rolex-certified watchmaker who's independent may be a good source for old parts too. No idea on parts, but my guess is they'll either be really cheap (happy to finally get rid of them) or really expensive, particularly if they don't have a part and have to make it, or suggest replacing the entire movement with something contemporary.

I think I would attempt to source a good watchmaker. I've read reports of RSC kicking back bubblebacks because of parts. Couldn't hurt to call and ask.

I would start by dropping a line to Rolex, either by e-mail or by letter. Most of my letters were answered. Depending on their answer you can decide what course of action to take. Good luck.
