Anyone else have difficulty fitting 574 end links(jubilee) on vintage Daytona?

Wondering if it is just me.
I could not fit the 574 ends onto the lugs of my vintage Daytona. They are paired with a 62510 Jubilee bracelet.
I tried a friend's as well, and had the same issue. The end links are OEM.
Curious if anyone else has had the same problem.

Best.

What exactly does not fit? Width or height or do the pushpins not click?

The width. I can't get the end links between the lugs to begin with, it seems a touch too tight(end links ever so slightly wider to easily push between lugs). I tried with a little pressure but it didn't go through. I don't want to, and shouldn't have to push too hard is my guess. I have never owned NOS end links before, but have never had to push end links between the lugs too hard before.
