Patek 5296R incoming today

After a bit of ringing round to get on a list for a 5164A finally managed to sort one and should arrive in the next few months.
Anyway i thought id call in the AD today so he could put a face to the name and have a chat etc..

I'd asked previously if he had a sector dialled 5296R in which he had.I'd hankered after this watch for ages and deliberated between this and the plain dialled 5296 but once i saw it in the flesh it was an easy decision for me although the plain dial is Patek simplicity at its best.

Anyway to say I'm chuffed is an understatement and to top it all i'm on the list for a Blue 5711 so will just sit and wait fingers crossed.

My advice is keep this watch, enjoy it, and forget about the 5711. Life is too short. Both watches haves the 324SC movement. This movement is better suited for your reference. If you want a sports watch buy a no date Sub.

Congrats! I've been debating between this and a 5227R. Been difficult to decide.

Congratulations. It's a nice sporty, dressy Calatrava that should be fairly versatile.
