Love that watch. Understated yet elegant. The word "smart" comes to mind. Nice touch of sharp intelligence. Enjoy!!!

Congratulations! The Milgauss is the model that caught my eye and got me into watches. Since then I’ve discovered so many models that I can’t decide what to buy.
I do recall trying the Milgauss on for the first time though... magical. Glad the picture I took of it had Live Photo turned on. I still play it every once in a while to watch the lightening hand move! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Congrats and welcome to the Z-Blue club. I've had mine for about 2 months and absolutely love it. Plus I'm and engineer by trade so it fits well with my profession.

Thank you all so much! It's only been a few days and I can already tell I'm going to thoroughly enjoy this watch for a very long time.

I should also note that both the black and Z-blue Milgauss models were the same price — the Z-blue was not more expensive!

It's a beautiful watch. That blue dial combined with that green crystal yields a magical result. Congrats OP!

Congratulations on your new purchase. It is funny but I bought the exact watch in a very similar way. It was totally an unexpected purchase. I had never planned to buy the Milgauss until I saw it in the flesh and asked if I can put it one. I loved it immediately. After some negotiation I got also a 10% discount and I made the purchase.

Love the off-the-beaten-path character with the Z-blue dial and green crystal, and the whimsical-quirky orange lightning bolt. Definitely not something you see every day and a bit of a departure for Rolex. Exactly my style!
I got the black dial version a few years ago as my first Rolex--and by the way, the dial really looks more chocolate/clay-colored in certain light. I had that black dial with the green crystal in the back of my mind but I couldn't pull the trigger...thinking it was too different. So several years later, when I found a great deal on a pre-owned, I grabbed a blue dial to add to my growing collection. Love it! |

You're absolutely right about the black dial looking brown/coal sometimes. Here is the black Milgauss I was trying on before I decided on the Z-blue.
