I know everyone’s focused on the whole raspberry Pepsi thing... but man the jubilee. Really makes that watch!

Very ironic that so many say, I prefer the 16750 or whatever older model yet somehow there is a million man wait list everywhere. Who are these mysterious people that don't want anyone to know they are dying for this watch.
I personally I'm not crazy about this watch, prefer the BLNR but if I had to choose between old and new, there's is absolutely no comparison, I'd choose the new one in a heartbeat. In every single metric, it's a better watch. Movement, bracelet, dial, and bezel... The color might be subjective but the rest is undeniably and improvement. A better watch, but your "needs" may vary. |

That also risks making it a rather sterile option. Perfection also risks be boring. Vintage can have warmth and character, especially with a plexi crystal and matte dial. There's no right or wrong answer, but "better in every single metric" paints too broad of a stroke for everyone. |

Who wants a Pepsi? Two 16750s (both from circa 1984!) and the new BLRO.

But, personally, I'm still a bigger fan of the 16750 matte. Newer might be technically better but also lacks soul in my opinion. Soul can't be bought. When I see a 1675, 16750, 16700 or even a 16710 on someone's wrist my first thought is they must be an enthusiast. When I see a newer reference (some of which I own and wear myself) I simply think they had enough spare cash to buy a watch or they bought it for a life milestone. Neither is wrong, just different. |

My thoughts exactly. Artificial lighting mutes and darkens the colors.

TRF members be like....
March 2014: "How dare Rolex release the Pepsi in WG? The red/blue colors look awful anyways so I wouldn't buy one". March 2018: "Rolex finally listened! The bezel looks better in person and has really grown on me. Can't wait to get mine! I'm number one on the dealer list." March 2022: "Still waiting for my SS Pepsi. How do grey market dealers keep getting pieces? Is it just me or is the bezel looking worse than it did at Basel release?" |

After actually seeing one, I can tell you that the photo you're looking at isn't representative of the actual watch. That photo looks highly filtered. When I take the photo I took and apply a filter to it and turn up the saturation, I can get the BLRO bezel to look very red/very blue. But in person, it's absolutely not like this.

No. I should have though. The owner was very nice. He was wearing a SS Daytona. The dog was very well behaved. She was sitting on the green leather couch minding her own business. I think she was a Maltipoo (Maltese/Poodle) mix. On an interesting note, I never thought much of the WG BLRO, but since they changed the dial from black to blue, I absolutely love it!!! I don’t know how such a small change could make such a huge difference. Had I not purchased a “Smurf” this year, it would be on my short list. It really was beautiful and sporty. I bet they sell a lot more of them now |

Maybe if you're looking at a UV faded flag... Folks, just accept that the colors are what they are. They're a purplish-blue and pinkish-red, end of story. You can either like or hate it but unless Rolex changes the process for production, it is what it is. Yes, the movement isn't present. They're weighed dummies. |

they are not for sale and tour AD's. Why put extra cost into something that will never be sold?
