Does this 16622 clasp look suspect? To me it looks kinda sloppy

I’m sorry it’s not the clearest, but the logo looks sloppy to me

Looks like quite a bit of bracelet stretch and perhaps a polish (where they couldn’t quite reach the area around the coronet.

That beacelet and especially the clasp has been polished too many times!
Maybe that’s what causes you to doubt it.
Have you seen the watch or just pictures?

This is a 5 digit clasp, completely different compared to your 6 digit.

Disagree.

Looks legit, but either side of the coronet has been brushed to a different texture to the rest, and should be polished anyway.

I say this whilst wearing my own Yachtmaster

Gotcha! Thanks. My two are ceramics although one sad day I'll inherit my dad's late 60s Sub.

Maybe I'm wrong but all the fake bracelets that are sold have the crown that looks like that.. Usually the crowns are more narrow and longer, not short and wide...

^^^ This.

Bracelet is fine, but has been (improperly) refinished.

It's better if you add "in my opinion" to posts like this.
