So in conclusion, I doubt we will ever really know what is causing this phenomenon, but if you have a Rolex with a date mag that is sub-spec and is still in warranty, your RSC should do the job for nowt. If on the other hand it doesn't bother you, then you can save yourself two or three weeks without your watch, and leave it as is. Either way we all get to enjoy our watches.
It's a shame that this is happening (for those of us it annoys) but at least there is an option available.
