My first Sub

I have just put down deposit on 2001 no date, before I complete the purchase on Monday wanted to check with everyone if from the pictures it looks OK. I have purchased a datejust from them in the past so consider them reliable however it's always good to get second opionions, thanks.

Pictures look OK to me. Others might be able to comment but did they use the wide font bezel, luminova and holes case on this piece in the 2000s?

Looks good to me, it appears to have been polished but not too much. It's hard to tell from your pic but is the spring bar end close to the surface in second third pic or is that a reflection of the hole itself?

Congrats...but I wouldn't purchase anything from anyone who isn't an AD unless I was 100% sure about their reliability. My two cents.

Here's a photo of my P series 2001 14060M to assist which has the bracelet clasp reference number of DE which is the correct one for the year.

Looks genuine but it's seen a good polish. As comparison here is my 14060M and its unpolished. FYI I got it in December for 4600 and it was in mint condition.

Yup, looks good to me but if you want to be certain, take it to any AD or RSC and have them open it up. Anyway, congrats!

EVERY SINGLE 14060 had lug holed case.

The photo in the upper right quadrant shows the spring bars protruding through the lugs which suggest over polishing, imho. The crown guards are uneven suggesting they too were over polished. It could be that the incorrect spring bars are being used however although that doesn't seem likely. And it could be poor lighting on the crown guards causing the apparent difference.

Thanks everyone for the input. Everyone here has always helped me in the past with new purchases :) I feel this piece would round my small collection off nicely which consists of explorer 2, datejust 16013 and now this sub. I hope I can add many more in the future and reach my grail watches. For now at 24 I am happy with what I have :)
