78200 Bracelet on 116500 Daytona?

Can the 78200 bracelet from the GMT II be fitted to a 116500 Daytona?

I need to replace my damaged 75890 bracelet and have found an excellent price on a 78200. I know the are essentially identical, but apparently the SELs are different.

Any suggestions on how this swap can be done would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Short answer would be yes, Ive done such a job before, but in all fairness I used the original SELs of the Daytona so I can not say for sure that those would pose no problems of the GMT.

Yet I can tell from experience that bracelets are more interchangeable than people think.

If you really buy it for an excellent price, a price in which you can sell it again and dont make any significant loss on it, I would just go ahead and buy it, try it and if it works yes if not you just made a cool new experience ! :)
