Guess we will never get to see the works of Tommy’s infamous 5711 replica or the real story . :-(

I suspect or hope there is some sort of legal case in process or as part of a settlement there was agreement to not speak of it anymore. Otherwise if more were shared there could be much to learn for others (like me) from his terrible experience on several different levels.

I'm not much of a PP guy but would it be possible to get a caseback shot? No horse in this race other than hoping you get made whole and hopefully a little education for those out there like me.

Any grey dealer worth their salt should make it right IMO - regardless of the amount of time passed. Especially if it’s apparent from the original listing or photos from their end that it’s a blatant fake… However, if this was purchased from an private party / individual then OP is probably SOL….

Sorry for the situation and how you had to find out about it… But at least you know now! All the best.

I don’t think we should expect any update on this thread. The OP made his position clear in post 70 and it’s clear he want’s this thread to just go away. I think we should respect that decision and not keep asking for more.

Did OP know it was a fake from the beginning and still posted the picture or he just discovered it later on?

So are we saying all 3 are fake?

PP? Confirmed
AP? Some say yes. OP says no
VC? Any thoughts on this one?

Well to some of the replies about the fear of buying/going Grey? Well thats just like we always say. Buy the seller not the watch. Ive went Grey many times and then sold/traded some of those exact same pieces to a different Grey. Never one problem.

Maybe the OP was trying to "pull one over" on us. He's been a long time member here so hopefully not. I know if it were me I'd be doing quite a few things.

1. Posting more pics of all 3. Well I guess there is no need on the PP
2. Going to an A D or qualified watch maker
3. Trying to get my money back if in fact I had been scammed. And I so I'd be blasting that sellers info all over TRF.

Oh well. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to the OP
