Not yet , it is still not possible to talk with the family , but some of us are waiting also to see.

For those who wish to light a candle in marcellos honour , the funeral details are below ( tomorrow Italian time ) .

The loss of a font of knowledge to the watch world, but more important, the loss of a man to his family.

Sincere condolences to his family..

Just the sentiments alone, the outpouring within this thread, are a testament to all people Mr. Pisani affected in a very, very positive way.
Rest in Peace

Could we ask the mods to give him some recognition by modifying his signature? I think it would be a great tribute to one who has helped so many.

Agreed. I also don't think it's appropriate to appropriate his avatar pic, but that's just my view.

Agreed. Every time I saw someone using his avatar pic I thought it was him posting and that this whole thing was just some kind of cruel prank...

That is terribly sad news.

Marcello was a true gent and an incredibly knowledgeable watch aficionado. He was also one of a kind as, with great knowledge, doesn't always come the willingless to share. Marcello was a real teacher and his willingness to educate and help us all in our quests, whatever the level, was quite incredible. I regularly sought his counsel when acquiring new vintage pieces and Marcello was always eager to share and advise thoughout these journeys. I will miss him and am still struggling to come to terms with this sad news.

Marcello.... RIP my friend......

Actually I'm there too but I very rarely post as I'm not a collector and I don't consider myself an expert.

(Post #89 in this thread, BTW)
