Sticker on the back looks like it has been worn to hell and back. Does age do that to a sticker, on the back of an unworn watch sitting in a safety deposit box?

"Unworn" means different things to different people - particularly on this site. Of course the guy put it on his wrist as would any of us so it's not like it was never worn. It just doesn't show signs of being worn - i.e. no wear is visible.

The sticker looks like someone went to peel it off and then decided otherwise.

Great story. This guy is about to seriously enjoy his retirement!

Let's just hope this doesn't inspire more folks to treat their watches as safe queens.

He should of just put the watch on the wrist after finding out the value. That would be funny.

I don’t believe the watch is unworn either. Lightly worn, but not unworn. Story makes zero sense, but a lot of $cent$.

Jackpot!
My wife was just reading this story to me and i told her they seriously low-balled him. I hope for his sake he doesn't just sell it for 400-500k to the first bidder. I'll get an equity loan and buy it from him right now for that lol, didn't the last one go for like 17mil? Or was that PN actual watch... but for real he's gotta be looking at at least 5mil with ALL the OG swag right?
