Yes, and I regretted it quite a bit. After some time, really grew to dislike the 13LN. Eventually sold it after a couple of years, and never ever regretted it for a second

I prefer the TT Sea Dweller over the TT black dialed Sub Date. But in terms of TT Diver the Bluesy trumps them all.

All personal preference. The bluesy is definitely a beautiful piece, but as previous users have mentioned for some (myself included) it’s a little too flashy / eye catching. That being said, the TT black sub seems to have just the right amount of flash while maintaining the standard black face (without being your standard issue black/black steel submariner), but not catching looks like it would with a colored face or full yellow gold piece. But again, everyone has their own preferences and none are wrong!

Full Disclosure : the LN has been and always will be my favorite Rolex. That thing was on my dad‘s wrist my entire childhood (can see it in every family photo), when he stopped wearing it and gifted it to me it instantly became my favorite piece !

I did the black and gold since I thought it was more classic. I ended upmtrading as the TT did not last for me.

I’ve had both, I really like the black and gold TT but I currently have a Bluesy TT and think it’s one of the best looking watches I have ever owned...

I mean who buys a TT watch with fear of it being too flashy? Yes the bluesy is flashy, it did its job!

Personally I think the black looks more classy, the blue more sporty.
I wanted the black because I think it looks better and as a bonus in my experience it's seen less often.

I haven't regretted buying the LN at all and I'm so glad I chose it over the blue.

I can't post pictures yet as I'm new to the forum

I like the black more without yellow gold (SS sub). With yellow gold, blue looks great with it.

I have the TT Black and love it. But it goes much more with my style. Wear black more than anything.

If money permits, I would get a 126613LB and a 124060.
I personally think that TT works better with the blue dial, and if looking for something less flashy a simple SS Sub is the one to go for.
Regarding blue color, it will always be perfect on a blue jean :)
These new cases are amazing to me 5 digits proportions with modern dimensions !

I like the black and gold combo so was set on that but when I went into the AD and saw the blue dial for the first time I was sold on the fabulous sunburst and went for that, but years later I picked up the SD43 in TT as I found I still loved the black and gold combo.

Indoor v Outdoor is where each watch shines.

When I bought my Blusey I was planning ahead. The TT SD had been announced and although not instantly appealing, it's a watch I could see possibly sitting in my collection at some point.

But I had really made up my mind already. The TT 116613LB sunburst dial is as beautiful as it is unique. And still so.

It's up to you really. Which do you like more? One of them is the epitome of ageless iconic cool. So is the other one. You can't go wrong.

Same thing. I had one of the first TT black subC and after 3 years it had to go.

The diamond dials are oem, but discontinued a number of years ago.

I owned a bluesy and loved it. I also love the black and feel it would be more versatile, to me anyway. I moved on to a solid gold sub and chose black for that reason. Just get what you like the most. Simple really.

Personally I think TT looks great with the black dial, but the sub is pure class on all YG blue dial.

The black and gold TT is a striking watch without doubt but I fell in love with the Bluesy from the day I first saw it and eventually bought one. Blue is my color so for me I much prefer the Blue TT as opposed to the Black TT. If I were to go for a black sub it would be the St St all black version not the TT.
You say you have a blue dial DJ and want something different, a TT black and gold sub would definitely fit the bill..

I have both the blue datejust and bluesy. After having the bluesy for a week I can tell you that the 2 watches are very different. Also the OP has to get what he likes. You only wear one watch at a time.
