Sorry to hear this, OP. Hope you can recover your losses...Who was the seller? Maybe you can prevent others from falling into the same trap.

It was a cash deal. I assume local. May be in his best interest to keep the seller’s identity anonymous until he sorts things out so as to not “tip” the seller off that he’s onto him.

I heard this saying once...how did it go?

If it sounds too good to be true....make a quick deal with cash?

No....that doesn't sound right.

Sorry mate, sorry to read your situation, but this seems like it was preventable.

I guess be thankful you are learning a lesson with only $$$ and pride involved and not your health as some other were less fortunate found out the hard way.

Good luck...we're here for you, keep us updated.

Pretty sure he doesn’t need to be patronised? Also not sure he’s going to be thankful if he’s 1000s of $ out of pocket.

This guy was unknowingly scammed out of USD 14,000. That’s a tough lesson. Our thoughts are with you, OP. Good luck!

Similar M.O, only this time the watch was immediately called into question. He has made posts on both TRF and CWC with conflicting stories and currently awaiting response to the questions posed. RADIO SILENCE. The following threads are of value to the TRF community

Umm... the wrist in the picture is pretty similar to the one that ltdan posted if you observe the size and the thickness of the wrist hair.

I’ve noticed a lot of this going around lately too. I think they just want to see how well their rep is. Who knows tho...
