I have an old Seiko Divers Watch it is not a Grand for sure, it says 150M water resistant on the face. The watch was a gift and it has sentimental value to me.
I bought a replacement "rubber" band a while back and it is horrible. More plastic feel than rubber and it is turning gray.

The lugs are 22mm is their a quality replacement strap out there?

Look at the Uncle Seiko site. I have no personal or financial interest in it. I read about it on this site.

They did not have a match for the original strap but I ordered one up, looks a little better honestly.

Remarkable condition! I have to consider the heirs to my Seiko collection, since I expect them to outlast me.

I would guess the model is 7002-7009-A1 Scuba Divers , that is off the back?
My brother gave it to me as a gift 11-1994.

Don't forget about Isofrane as a quality rubber strap option. A true "diver" strap, and several colors available.

I agree that the Seiko "rubber" dive strap is not great... But if it's turning gray, it may not be a genuine one. They replicate the rubber strap (not sure why- it's not that expensive) as well, and the material quality is not up to par.

x2 on isofrane. I have a few for my seiko divers and they are worth the price.

The quality of the Isofrane bracelet is indisputable, but considering its prices, I personally prefer other options, and the market is full of them. Congratulations Op, a very beautiful watch. Impossible not to love Seiko.

I have been very happy with Borealis rubber straps. Similar style to the Isofrane at about a quarter of the cost. Wear them on many of my watches for summer water activities.

The new Seiko diver straps are great. They are nothing like the original versions.
