What is it about the Seiko skx007?

It is simple, inexpensive, not colorful or flashy. Yet it draws you in...

They have a classic look, meaning not too embellished like many mall-quartz divers. The purchase and resale value is very consistent year to year. Takes a 22mm strap....One of the ONLY watches I cannot seem to part with after getting bored of so many others.

The 4 o'clock crown. 200M. Classic looks. That bevel on the glass. Looks great on multiple types of bands/bracelets/etc. What's not to love?

Love mine. I wear it at least once a week. It lives on a NATO.

I like the SKX007/9 because it is so much fun and its highly functional at a price that is very reasonable.

I've got the 009 on a super oyster 2, the bracelet really lifts it to another level, and an 013, love them to bits and would never part with them.
