116660 Deepsea bezel popped off

I was working in the garage last week and I hit my DSSD just perfect and the bezel popped off (no damage). I'm told by several watchmakers in Seattle that reinstalling it can only be done by the Rolex Service Center.

Any other options?

I have heard the same and that it's because the ceramic can actually crack upon reinstalling and Rolex prefers that if this happens to current ceramic bezel owners that the best option is just having the service center do it. Because apparently they aren't just reinstalling the bezel they also change some o rings or something or other. There is a number you can call to ask. Try this number this is for NY Rolex store but they can guide you where you need to go 212-758-7700. Hope this helps bud

Ceramic can be so brittle if hit in that sweet spot.
If this was an aluminum bezel, id say do it urself. But it being ceramic, id send to rsc. Just explain what happened and they might even cover it.
