Are the people who are telling you it's a waste the same age as you? What are they spending their money on? iPhones, playsations and games etc. probably.
I wish I had the sense to buy a Rolex at 18 instead of blowing all my money on crap and nights out drinking every Friday and Saturday night.
Yeah most people say it's a waste my age and then evan older people say your phone at the time on. I'm pleased with it so hay hoo.

Very respectable that you were able to save up on your own at your age. I was off wasting money when I was 18. I've purchased several nice watches prior to my first Rolex (BLNR), but I just got my first a month ago at age 34. So you are doing something right. You'll enjoy it and many more.

Wow... first of all a very big congratulations on your first rolex and at the age of 18 is awesome.. most kids your age would never work hard to buy themselves a rolex.. and i admire your hardwork and achieving what u want with your very own hardwork and not just bugging your parents to get you a rolex like most rich kids.. hope i was buying my first rolex at 18.. and what was i doi g when i was 18, oh yeah wasting money in nightclubs and bars and women and gambling.. lol.. well not everyone is as smart as you man.. keep up the gd work and best of luck for more rolexes for you to purchase...

congrats and quite an accomplishment to have bought it on your own at 18.

Don't listen to others when they question your choice to buy a rolex at 18. you are the best person to make decisions for yourself, not anyone else!

if you have the commitment to save for a rolex at 18, you've got the potential to do very well in later life. good luck to you!

I was 18 whten I bought my first Rolex as well, it wasn't new, or even close to as much as yours and I got the same response, i'm sure you'll enjoy it for years to come. I wish I had peers into Rolex like you! Im sure your gmt will be the first of many more, and a watch you'll enjoy for a lifetime.
