In Dubai and need a BLNR
In Dubai on holiday and leaving Tuesday.
Need a BLNR ASAP but don't think saddiqi and sons can get me one in before Tuesday. Anyone know anywhere else I can try? |

There are a number of grey market dealers there that you can try like Adnan Jewellery/Timepiece 360 and Top Swiss Watches AE

Thanks I've tried all surrounding Saddiqi stores including Atlantis and they don't have any either. Must be just bad timing, I'll try the airport on the way home e

Sediqqi last month advised me a two month wait for BNLR. I think Timepiece360 could improve on that.... good luck.

ps. Slightly off topic but I find prices in Doha a bit more attractive than Dubai (although the current political situation prevents a quick hop flight cross border!) |

All is can say is there are plenty BLNRs in Kuwait. Only 45 minute flight and prices are cheaper than in Dubai.

Well the guys at Saddiqi and sons pulled it out the bag for me and got me a BLNR in on time and what can I say, really happy, amazing service from these guys for sorting it out for me so quick and compared to UK prices coming in at under retail by a few hundred quid.
They had some 24 orders in today for various customers amongst them a D blue which is gorgeous in the flesh and also got to try in the SD43 which is also very nice but still think I prefer my deep sea. For any interested the SD43 works out at just over £8,000 so some way under RRP price for buyers from the U.K. Will defiantly use these guys again top service. Just make sure you put orders in some time in advance through the main contact Center and you'll be fine. I only gave 2 weeks notice for the BLNR which seems not long at all. Maybe a few months for the SD43 |

Good to read that you were successful.
Interesting to read that this model is not readily available even overseas. This whole Forum is about Rolex watches and Rolex needs to seriously step up on availability and stable prices. Why are models available through grey dealers at elevated prices when Rolex distributors world wide have been forbidden to sell at above retail? Isn’t the only source an AD? Do you want a new white ceramic Daytona? Do we need to buy a diamond DayDate and wait? Why do we pay a premium from a grey? Is this is now out of control?

One grey dealer in London was even sat in the boutique of watches of Switzerland posting the watch for sale on instabram before he has even paid for it, when on the same day I was told min 6 months wait, it seems in a lot of places operate this way which is why you see so many on the grey market. Establish a good relationship with an AD overseas and be polite and you can pretty much have your pic, I got the impression I could have had a D blue very easily same with Hulk and even as short as 2 months for a SD43. Daytona ceramic is the only one they have a real waiting list for, I think maybe 8/9 months for one of them. Wht I do find interesting though as places in the UAE certainly the big ADs can have stuff to order from Rolex, the stock isn't in dribs and drabs like it is in the U.K. |

My overall experience with Seddiqi has always been very positive. And I've been to many ADs, as I'm sure we all have. Congrats on the BLNR!
