How big is yours? Big enough for SD43?

With my name on a list for a SD43 and eagerly hoping to receive in the next few months, I was wondering what a good sized wrist is that will fit this watch beautifully? I haven’t been able to try one on yet for obvious reasons (The continual problem problem with buying a Rolex...?), so am keen to know if it will make my wrist look like a twig or a trunk.

My wrist is exactly 7 1/4 inches and fairly flat. My 44mm Panerai fits well with no overhang, even though it supposedly wears large for a 44mm given it’s “cushion” case shape. I’ve read that the SD43 wears surprisingly small for a 43mm watch? Help from owners would be greatly appreciated.

Let’s compare sizes...

It will fit you fine. I am 6.6” and it would look silly

Will fit anyone 7" or over, and many in the 6.5-6.75" range depending on wrist shape. You will have no issues

Come on, Steven, the consensus seems to be that 7" will fit in anyone.

My wrist is 7 1/2" and my SD-43 fits beautifully!...the perfect size. You'll never look at 40 mm the same way again! Enjoy.

It really does look better than the regular SubC especially on those whose wrists are big enough to have a bit of bracelet on both sides so that the case sits precisely in the center. That red text and and full hash marks on the bezel. I'll try to try it on next time I'm in the diamond district to see how big it looks on my 7" wrist. It probably will be just a tad big for my taste.

6.5in wrist didn't feel comfortable with the SubC; not even considering the SD43 which is larger, thicker, and heavier!!!

Well, fortunately, things can expand to a good degree and thus ensure a 'proper fit'.

Of course, and if you insist, it's not really the size of watch that truly matters. It is in how many different ways, and frequency, you can use it.

Every man needs a great tool watch.

Or, perhaps when alone, call it having the right tool for the right job at hand. If that is deemed to be 7" then so be it.

Same here

Now, I’ve heard about 6” is average size ... which makes my 7” wrist above average. I feel so much better now

OP, it’s fit you very well.

Wears well on a variety of wrist sizes....

I have a 6.5" wrist and don't feel that it's too large. Based on the revised case shape it definitely wears more on the smaller size.

At 7" 1/4 you'll be absolutely fine. The watch fits 6.5" wrists onwards. The tapered lugs make it wear smaller.

I've got somewhere around a 6.5" wrist depending on the time of day. I love the Rolex line of dive watches but the 16610 was and remains my choice the my wrist.
