5726 For 5140 G difference?
james272
"TRF" Member Well My 5726 is gray dial W black strap. I have found a 5140 G with black strap white dial for about $10000 difference. Both are as new - should I do it ??? Thanks for any ideas |

Since your 5726 is on strap, i think the 514o is nicer. It the 5726 was on bracelet, i would have kept it.

I honestly love the 5726 on a strap as well. It’s very chic. The 5140 is classic and elegant while the 5726 is a bit edgier and has a more charismatic dial and the display is def easier to read. In a way I wish the new Nautilus PC used window appetites than the 5140 style dial but it would not have been as thin. I think I would keep the Nautilus as it’s more versatile since you can wear it for anything...esp if u use the rubber strap for the water.

Ive got the 5726 on strap. I put it on rubber.
I absolutely love this watch. I’d not sell it for anything. Unless I needed a kidney and it was the only way I could get one. Otherwise, no chance. As I said in a prior thread, I told my wife recently that I’d have her working the streets before I sell this watch.

Update , I ended up trading the 5726 strap for a 5327 blue dial , blue strap. The 5726 was just too thick for me. With the alligator strap it didn’t seem formal or sporty either one to me. I put the black rubber strap on but didn’t like the smooth texture as opposed to the more flexible rubber like texture of my 5167 R that I really like. Like the PC , thin styling , and blue dial on 5327. Also really like the new cylinder winder box it came w to replace the wood box. Guess that’s why they make chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Thanks for idea’s. James in San Antonio,Tx

If you are happy, that’s all that matters. Indeed chocolate and vanilla.
I find it super sporty, but I put it on a rubberb, and it’s the thinnest watch I’ve got. Enjoy the new piece. Pics please.
