Do you think I have all the bases covered with these 3?

Pretty much. While 5711 can take on most dress, I’d add a Lange on leather

Yes, for sports you are nicely covered, a Lange dress would be a great completer.

Maybe I will add a dress watch later on down the line... I'm more of a sports watch guy for now.

Wonderful !
Maybe a bit too much « sea » oriented
I would swap 5167 for the 5164 to have the GMT complication
And maybe a daytona instead of SD
Sea/air/land covered

Nice collection. It looks almost like mine: 5711, Sub and JLC PC

Nice collection - ticks a lot of boxes. Missing a chronograph though.

Good shout, and keeps an aquanaut and Rolex in the collection.

I actually love the 5164 as well as the 5167, the 5167 was a gift from my wife and I wore on our wedding. So I don't think I could let that one go.

And the chronograph... does anybody actually use that complication?

No one uses a chrono complication, it’s just for the look, well I sometimes used to cook eggs or pasta when I had a Daytona

if I could throw another in at this point id say white daytona C to give you a chrono and your set with steel

I have a 3970 to check all the boxes since my collection is a lot of sports too:
1) Dress watch on leather strap
2) Chrono
3) Perpetual calendar
4) Manual wind
5) Precious metal
6) Moonphase
7) Vintage

What about AP, think an AP would fit in this mix? I'm more of a low key type, don't care to flaunt my watches or myself.

Since you are in the Patek forum, the next step would be add a complicated Patek to your collection

The Nautilus and Aquanaut are a bit redundant to me in such a small collection and, as others have mentioned, you don't have a dress watch, a chronograph, a calendar moonphase, or a precious metal watch, all of which may or may not be important to you but I know they are to me. A 5712 and an 1815 Chronograph would remedy all of those.

More than covered in my book. Aqua = casual/work every day wear, SeaDweller = waterproof and rough duty wear, 5711 = sport + dress for any occasion. I'm moving to the less is more philosophy.

Only on TRF is it possible that those three aren’t enough!

Great collection! And I agree with many of the others - a strap/dress watch would really round out the collection. And I’d go with a platinum Patek, but that’s just me.

I would get something in PM, perhaps trade the 5167 or 5711 for the r version, especially now that the bubble hasn't burst yet.

Well... ya ain't missing much bud! BUT, if you're uncertain? The new P-P pilot's watch is grand, as is the V-C Overseas Chrono with multi bracelets and a LANGE IS GRAND!!!

Your collection has a sporty aquatic theme. I would suggest adding a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Ocean Commitment III

Great trio. Might be nice to add something dressy on a strap or a PM sports watch at some point.

You basically have three of the same watch: steel/sport/simple. So...no, I don’t think you have many bases covered.
