A Journey In Time – the official history of Seiko
I have posted a link to the pdf version of the out-of-print book in another thread, prebiously — so here it is, in its own thread... A Journey In Time.
For those who are curious about Seiko’s “credentials”, those who are newly enamoured with Grand Seikos, and even those who’ve been long time Seiko aficionados, this book is one that should be downlaoded and read. The only slight negative is that it covers only up to 2003, which is a pity as doesn’t document the transitional period of 2005-2010 when Seiko introduced Ananta and Spring Drive to select International markets as a precursor to official exports of Grand Seiko, and subsequent creation of Astron and their first tourbillon in the form of the Credor Fugaku. It’d be great to see the book re-published in an updated version, inlcuding details of JDM/WAKO specific versions, but not limited to just Grand Seikos. |
