Try tokyo boutique. The european and american boutiques have long queues. Unlike tokyo.

I have one on order. I am expecting it this month or next. I ordered it when it was announced beginning of November. They said about 3 months delivery time.

I’m almost certain that it does. When I ordered mine, there was no mention of needing a different strap.

I haven’t heard anything being implemented. But I did hear from a boutique manager a couple months ago that a price increase was likely. He stated it would align with the secondary market prices.

Deployant from my resonance fits my Chrono bleu strap perfectly.

That is correct. I believe all FPJ straps and clasps are interchangeable between models. With the exception maybe of the elegante straps which are not leather.
The new tantalum clasp is supposedly 19mm.

Thanks for the write-up. The FPJ BC is a beautiful watch. Images don’t do it justice. All I need to do is figure out how to get one...

Expecting CB deployant sometime this month. Should be wg for the clasp as gold has "spring" and the outer buckle part will be tantalum (same with my pt deployant as 995 pt is not ideal, although some brands use a pt alloy).

January 14th or so should be announcement of new FPJ 2019 watches. FPJ isn't part of SIHH, but they always have their announcements at the same time.

Then, January 15th, 4th quarter taxes are due !

This thread inspired me to wear mine

How does one go about ordering the camel strap? Can it be done online? What website? Or in person at boutique?

Thanks

Any guesses on what they might announce for 2019? I’d love another entry piece, but would bet that’s unlikely.

Funny how I was crazy reading about the CB online before I got one and how I couldnt stop myself reading it even after I got one.

Got mine over 1.5 years and still love it. I owned 5711 and 5712 before but I dont get the same excitement (or worry free) when I wear my CB.
Personally I enjoyed the CB much more and is something I am looking forward to pass on to my boy one day.

Its cheaper than either of the RG or Pt deployant.

I was told estimate cost for the tantalum deployant is 200k to 250K JPY.

Pt is at 480K JPY. RG at 384K JPY.

My concern if i get one is what to do with my existing tang buckle.

Get another color strap if you don't already have one.
I plan on using the deployant on my most frequently used strap, and keep the tang buckle on one of the others.
One less thing to dismantle when changing straps.

A review of the deployant clasp? I already have them in pt and rg, they are nice, comfortable, reduce wear on the strap and make it far less likely to drop the watch. The tantalum will be exactly the same so that's my review.

Here you go:

Tourbillon souverain vertical

Plus the new dial version of the Resonance, for 1 year only as the last year of the resonance as we know it.

Plus a titanium Elegante for men and women with a special dark grey finish.

journe straps are fantastic, added a few new ones, each lending to entirely different personalities for the CB...

Thanks kunlun for the early scoop. Some gorgeous prices.

Still thinking about a CS, but I constantly look at my wrist for date. The Octas are nice, but I like the manual full view, and they’re a fair whack pricier.
