Maybe they are affiliated to others, like D Robinson is part of aurum group, so maybe they swallow it and put it in other windows

Just like some WOS may have lost the status or maybe not,

But WOS opening up new stores etc so maybe wasn't allowed to have to many outlets

My ad was a true gent, you can't believe how many apologies I got just because they couldn't deliver my watch, while the big ones just talk down on you. I contacted a new AD, and he kept laughing at me when I told him what I want, and when I told him I am not a newbie he told me they all say that. So sad, I felt humiliated just asking for what I like to buy with my money, it wasn't like he was giving it to me for free or discount.. oh well, c'est la vie!
It's been discussed before that the mum & pup store who's been dealing with watches and jewellery for generations, just won't survive during these times. If they haven't cuddled up with a grey dealer, they're pretty much doomed. Won't be able to meet targets as local customers simply can't pick up their 5320R/G or the occasional 5204/1R that pops into their display. It's pretty much their own fault for turning such people down by trying to stay "loyal" to their clients and not think about themselves first. Survival of the fittest.

No, both are gone.

NY, SF, Beverly Hills + Honolulu-> that’s it for Tiffany PP boutiques

Why do you believe they’re in trouble?

So same could be said about AP & Rolex & Richard Mille? None of them hold any of the desirable stock.

Same thing is happening with Rolex. No stock and ADs are disappearing left and right. But the gray dealers always seem to have stock. And pricing power.

Not doubting you but the brand that has opened 2 big stores in the U.S. It would have been unlikely if they were struggling.

Not struggling. Just getting into trouble lol. They already replaced almost everyone at the Soho Location. From the high store managers to salesman.

Any news on Canadian ADs? I see on the site that they are all still listed. Brinkhaus is part of the Birks group, a large company so I don't see them getting shut down. Kaufmann de Suisse in Montreal is very small and Humbertown in Toronto is also smaller than Brinkhaus. I like Kauffman but I think Humbertown should go, absolutely poor service whenever I go in there to see Pateks.

I bought 11 of them already, and it got me no closer to getting a new Patek AD.

Exactly. I don't know who would want to be in the retail business that doesn't absolutely have to be...

The other cited party is usually AP but they have just one product what sells the RO I think for the code11:59 they need no shops just a melting pot.
Also, look at the map of dealers in places like the U.S. Some of them are in what at first glance appear rather odd locations. If you know anything about those areas you know two things:

1. There is absolutely a market for pieces like this (good amount of old, discreet wealth).

2. There is absolutely not a large enough market for a Patek-only store (must have other jewelry items, too).

And that's why I think single-brand boutiques are crazy.

I absolutely concur with regards to the service remarks , worse AD experience, won't go back there, cold and unapproachable sales staff very unprofessional

Yes, unless most of what you’re selling is mass-produced “stuff” passing as “luxury” (Chanel, LV), but even those have shifted a lot of business online and aren’t in markets that support a presence, but not a whole store.

If PP went boutique, the brand would disappear from the Midwest with the *possible* exception of Chicago. But MO, WI, IA, MN, ND, IN? No way!
