Dies for dial repair
I keep hearing about dies for dial repair. Does anyone know about these dies? How do they work exactly? Are they like metal cut-outs that go over a spot on a watch and you paint the lume through the die? I keep hearing about them, but whenever I search for one online I come up with nothing.

it's a pretty saturated market space with a lot of legal issues. You need the art is vector format then the plates are made though electrical discharge machining. I think they can be made through laser engraving as well.

This company has been around for a very long time. My dial is refinished. I have thought about finding an original one in silver, but I feel my dial looks better to my eye. I did that almost 3 decades ago and it still looks new.
