General question about the classifieds section

So, while Im glad there is a classifieds section, and am grateful to have trusted sellers, I’m not sure what the purpose of having the area of “Rolex boutiques” for each trusted seller really serves since in addition to posting their pieces on their individual “boutique” they also post in the general classified section. I find it somewhat annoying that this is the case since a private seller with only 1 piece for sale, for instance, gets lost amongst the recurrent many posts by the TS’s. I wish there were separate subforums within the classifieds where the TS can post and another where regular members, like myself, that occasionally sell or trade pieces and do not do this as a business can post in to have more exposure. It seems like when one lists their thread it’s down to the 2nd or third page pretty quickly without the ability to bump for 48hrs. I know it’s a small gripe but I think a valid one.

I think that’s a valid point...

While you have a valid point, I like the boutiques since you can see what a trusted seller has for sale. They are big supporters of this forum and giving them each their own “boutique” was a great idea. I know if I’m looking for a particular watch I use the search function so I don’t even know what page the watch is on. If I’m just browsing I usually check out the boutiques and then check the regular area.

Perhaps individual sellers should post better ads, take better pictures and have better prices.

Competition.

It’s a virtually free medium to sell your watches with huge exposure. I understand your gripe but keep in mind that you’re already getting a huge value as is.
