Incoming... 5 year warranty card with green tag

My AD would give me this extended warranty today if I bought from him. The red tags are being replaced with the green tags as part of the warranty extension. Dealers have been given these new warranty cards and tags for use from Wednesday. Sneaked the photos when he turned his back. Bon appetit!

Thanks for the covert photos! Good to know also if you're about to buy one from an AD.

Went to another AD, he also had them in stock. Confirmed the red tags are all replaced by green tags from 1st July.

Cool, all my red tags are vintage discontinued collectors items

Thank you for sharing; very helpful. Is there any indication / confirmation on the region(s) to which this applies?

Hopefully, this also bodes well for the extension to 3 years for those who purchased recently. Speaking of which, how does Rolex communicate such changes to existing customers? Would Rolex and/or the AD send some formal communication, addendum insert to warranty booklet, etc. to the customer-on-record?

It's a shame my in-warranty watch isn't getting the same coverage.

This new warranty info is killing my buzz after buying my first Rolex last night. I called my AD to see if I can return/rebuy next week, he said no, since it was entered in the system already. He told me I was the second to call this morning about the new warranty. He said he was confident that they and Rolex would be able to make things right...basically saying it the same watch in the case yesterday or 7/1. We'll see what happens.
