I always prefer the hands to reach the chapter ring personally.

I had one like that a little while back. Beautiful watch, but a bit too radioactive for my taste. As waspy mentioned, the hands do look a bit short. I'd repeat the advice that was offered to me, check the lume with a blacklight and a Geiger counter. Pictures of the crown, serial range, and movement would be helpful too. Cheers.

I use a 7206 with 58 ends and it's fine. Here's a couple of pics of mine. Correct crown should have brevet + on it.

Btw, the depth rated 6610 usually has an extra long neck on the hour hand. Also a large lume bubble on the second hand.

The serial number is within the range that the other gilt depth Explorers I've seen fall into, including the one I had. Looks like it has the correct crown and the "brevet +" engraving on the case. Another similarity, between the lugs look like a bracelet was never used. I wonder why that is. Have you looked at the movement? If you could post some shots, that would be cool. Cheers.

All looks good, my only hesitation are the hands. They look good but I'm less than sure that they originally came on the watch.

These are some of the rarest and hard to get hands around. To get a set which matches your dial as well as these will be near impossible. I'd just get it as is and live with it so long as the price is right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
