GMT 16173 Value - Complete set "1" Excellent condition
Anyone willing to jump in on value of private sale of this model? I want to be fair to seller, but it looks like this model gets the "ugly step child" treatment in valuation?
Anyone wanna make a comment? |

I take it you mean 16713? Is it a black Dial or a Rootbeer?

16173 - GMT II - Two Tone/SS/18k - Jubilee; ca. 1991 or '92
I know in the 2000's, the ref becomes 116713 (oyster model), I believe, when Rolex turned to 6 digit reference #'s, but I am not aware of the ref 16713. Can you provide a Rolex link for the 16713? Thx Last edited by Dakotab; 7 July 2018 at 03:17 AM.. Reason: missing model detail |

sorry... i think that i'm going the wrong direction... the 16173 is an earlier reference... the "16713" i think is colloquial for the post 2000's Oyster model (116713);
I'm looking for input only on the 16173. Does anyone have input? Thx. |

I've never heard of a 16173. Are you sure the seller didn't invert the numbers?
Do you have any pictures, or a link? |

The 16713 two-tone GMT-Master II was produced for about 20 years from approximately 1988 to 2007. I'm sure this is the watch you're referring to. Check watchrecon.com and chrono24 for examples of current pricing.

Black Dial or Brown? It makes a difference in the price.
