Anyone comparison with old ceramic blue and the new one
I'm really tempted to get one but having a hard time deciding which blue would be best

Old blue is just flat.

New one does not appear to be out in the US mainland just yet. I called Rolex USA to get a timeframe for the release of the sunburst dial. They said they are not available anywhere in the world yet. I told him I saw photos online. Rolex USA told me it cannot be so. Rolex would never release to one country before another and the watch it not yet available anywhere.

What I took from the conversation is at least confirmation that the new dial will be produced.

If Rolex USA does not know that people already have the watch and thinks it is not yet released anywhere in the world yet, then not sure where I can get one in the States.

Hi Will, I recently chose the flat blue 116613lb over the latest sunburst or "metallic" looking dial. To me, the older blue is more subdued and classy whereas the newer dial has more sparkle. To be honest I would love to have either one. As of last week, only one AD in Toronto has only one new sunburst 116613lb in stock.

The sunburst dial 116613 has been available for some time in some parts of the world. Saw the first photos in jun or july this year. Got mine last month and the AD on the Gold Coast now has the TT and full gold on display with sunburst dials.

I would expect you to have looked closely at them both and tried them on for size before choosing one.

If I like the new dial as much as I do in the few pics I've seen, it just might be my first TT watch.
Will wait until they are readily available here in the States to check it out.

Still awaiting an in person viewing to make a determination.

I can tell you this, however, the 116613lb old or "flat" blue as some call it is one of my absolute favorites in my collection. It would take something pretty special to flip it.

at first i was 100% for the new blue based on the marketing images (plus i love the sunburst dial on the LVc), but, then i started seeing the pros of the flat blue, and now i like the flat blue better based on the real life photos i've seen (i think the ceramic bezel matches much better with the flat blue).

only way to be sure is to do a side-by-side in real life.

To me the sunburst is shown what looks like bright light shining at the dial. On the other hand the flat blue pic is under normal lighting. I question the sunburst, like to see it in normal light . Both watches to be are cool !

Very true. Need to see both of them under same lighting condition to appreciate the true difference.

I can only imagine the number of photos we are gonna see of these when they hit the US AD's

Here is another 2 photos of mine. First one in full sun and the second photo inside with no flash. The other photo above is inside with a flash. All taken with a Samsung S3 phone.

The camera flash or any artificiall lighting really highlights the sunburst and I think this really gives the watch the "Sparkle" which is so noticeable from a distance.
