Icon20 Serial N. .. Doubt ..!
Hello!

My 114060 bought 3 months ago has a serial N. starting with C and has a Z in it.. Is it OK ? From what I've read looks like the serial N. starting with C are referring to a very old case..!! Could you please explain me..

All random serials are just that random a mixture of letter numbers a total of 8 digits.While the other serials were from 1987 a single letter followed by 6 numbers at the moment we have the single letter G followed by 6 numbers and the random serials both running in the same time frame.They were both seen at the ADs from the latter part of 2010 till present time.

My 114060 starts with 69GXXXXX. Hope that helps ease your worries...

Or maybe you have an old surplus case for the Sub C date... ;) Remember the Sub C date came earlier than the 114060. I believe they have exactly the same case. I may be wrong. Don't take my word for it. LOL

The case is still stamped with the ref model number.

Ops.. Now I don't understand! Do I have an old stock of the Sub C Date or it was a joke? My serial N. is recent or not in your opinion....?

No, you do not have old stock..

Just a couple of years ago Rolex began using completely random serial numbers.. Yours is that; random, and recent.

Your serial is not a N its a random for Christs sake a total of 8 digits, and forget about the serial stuff.Enjoy a good glass of wine and just wear your watch in good health, that's far more important, and reference number is between the lugs.
