Service Dial 5513 WG with mark "T<25"?

Hallo guys,

i have bought a 5513 R-serial with WG. Without doubt the lume is not tritium, but luminova. Maybe a service dial?
Here is a picture of the watch after 10 seconds with UV-Light. The lume is recharged very strong and very fast, but not very long. Typical for luminova.

All service dials for 5513 i have ever seen are with the mark "SWISS". This one is with the mark "SWISS- T<25".

Anybody seen this before? Very strange, i think.

[ Sorry, in my first posting i can't publish external photos ]

Thanks in advance
Frank

Hard to know for sure without seeing a photo, but there are definitely a batch of luminova service dials that are marked as tritium. It’s a known quirk when Rolex was transitioning from tritium to luminova.

Here we go.

After 10 sec UV-light:

In comparison with a real Tritium-16750 also after 10 sec UV-Light:

Wow, irrespectively of lume, what a beauty! Congrats.

Yes, the early 5513 service dials for the 5513 glossy dials were marked Swiss T<25 but were luminova not tritium. I've owned a couple of these dials in the past. You have the same luminova service dial depicted in your photos. These service dials marked tritium with luminova were also found on the GMT 1675s and some other models s well.

Ive also seen a 16710 with the same feature of lumi with a t swiss t dial.
TBH on a late 5513, seriously I think it is the best of both worlds. Less worry and more practicality.
Wear in best health.
