Need help with my 79170 Tudor Big Block Chrono
I need a little help from the Big Block enthusiasts. I recently bought a Tudor 79170 chronograph big block. It came with a 79180 style steel Tachymeter. I want to restore it and put back on a 79170 rotating bezel. Now I have found the rotating bezel ring but I think I need a fixed bezel ring for the rotating bezel to attach to.
Is that correct? If so anyone know where I could source one, maybe someone know a shop that has all these parts? I suppose another option would be to take it to a watchmaker with a Rolex/Tudor parts account and ask them to get me one? What are your thoughts, I did find a similar link but couldn't see a resolution. I am based in London, so UK options and suggestions welcomed, although I visit New York regularly so anything there would be an option. |
